The main objective of this laboratory is to analyze the water quality through ion chromatography, of different types of water, whether: surface, interstitial or underground, both freshwater, brackish and marine ecosystems. This with high precision and reproducibility; for this the laboratory has two ion chromatographs of high precision that measure the concentration of anions and cations, as well as a water production system type 1, analytical balance, convection oven, extraction hood and freezers to preserve the samples. Likewise, the laboratory has a special area for handling reagents, preparation of calibration curve and samples.
